Summary

In a fantastic location high above the Vierwaldstättersee, on the ridge of the Bürgenberg, lies the largest integrated hotel resort in Switzerland. Since the 1950s, this magical place has attracted international stars and political figures from all over the world. During the filming of “007: Goldfinger”, the cast and crew stayed at the Grand Hotel. Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti, as well as Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer, lived on the Bürgenstock for a time, with the latter marrying in the local chapel.
