Summary
With a known length of over 200 kilometres, the Hölloch is considered one of the largest cave systems in the world. The cave consists of various sections featuring rock formations, chambers and narrow passageways. The temperature remains at approximately 6 °C all year round. The cave system also served as the location for the long-term reportage "Schweiz Aktuell Extra - Expedition Hölloch" produced by SRF in 2014.
