Description

The Ital Reding Haus is considered the most valuable building in Schwyz. The manor house is surrounded by enclosure walls and includes an outbuilding and the House of Bethlehem. It is named after its builder, Ital Reding (1573 – 1651). The building dates back to 1609. The roof turrets, transverse gables and the entrance oriel on columns were added in 1663. Today, the complex serves as a museum.
