Description
The Stanserhorn railway consists of two sections. The lower section is the historic wooden funicular dating from 1893. Since 2012, the upper section has been served by a one-of-a-kind attraction: an open-top cable car. The Stanserhorn features a viewing platform offering magnificent views over Lake Lucerne, the city of Lucerne, the Swiss Plateau and the Swiss Alps.
