Summary
The Hotel «Palace», located directly on the lakeshore, is the third grand hotel to form part of the Luzern hotel skyline. A contemporary witness to the Art Nouveau style of the Belle Époque, it was built in 1906. The building was commissioned by the famous Swiss hotel pioneer Franz Josef Bucher. The hotel underwent a complete renovation and reopened in 2022 as the «Mandarin Oriental Palace».
