Summary
Viscosistadt, located in the south of the municipality of Emmen, is developing on the former site of the Société de la Viscose Suisse, which was renowned for the production of rayon (now Monosuisse). Today, this extensive industrial and commercial area houses the Hochschule Luzern Design und Kunst and many creative industry workspaces. The newly established Spinnerei event location is also situated within the former industrial complex. During the interim use period between 2012 and 2018, many scenes for the Luzern edition of "Tatort" were filmed here.
