Description
German composer Richard Wagner resided and composed in this stately 15th-century manor house, situated in a romantic park on the hilly shores of Tribschenhorn, from 1866 to 1872. His children Eva and Siegfried were born at the estate, and he was visited there several times by Friedrich Nietzsche. Since 1933, the manor house has served as a museum presenting the life and work of Richard Wagner during his time in Luzern.
