European film producers on Lake Lucerne
From 17 - 20 June, an ACE Leadership Special took place in Vitznau. ACE Producers is a network of renowned producers from all over Europe and regularly organises exclusive further training for its members. This time, the multi-day workshop took the selected producers to Lake Lucerne. In collaboration with FOCAL, the Swiss Foundation for professional training in cinema and audiovisual media, we co-hosted this high-calibre event.
It was a great opportunity for us to present a few special locations and insider tips from Central Switzerland to the producers.

We are not only looking forward to the Women’s Euro 2025 and especially to the two matches Wales vs Netherlands and France vs England at the Lucerne Allmend stadium, but also to the new clip from Switzerland Tourism, which was largely filmed in Central Switzerland at the end of May, including on the Rigi.

On 6 May, the annual AGM of the association Film und Fernsehen Luzern-Zentralschweiz, the sponsoring body of the Film Commission Lucerne & Central Switzerland, took place in Luzern. The assembly unanimously approved all items of business and confirmed the co-presidency a.i. with Erich Felber and Matthias Luchsinger.

Under this title, an interesting article (p. 22 - 29) by the Luzern journalist and film expert Urs Hangartner has been published in the Albert Koechlin Stiftung AKS publication for this year's Central Swiss Film Prize.
It highlights the long tradition of international filmmaking in Central Switzerland and is peppered with many insights and anecdotes.
